We have read ELMER THE ELEPHANT book and after that, we have done this cute report book. We have learn some new words such as; colourful, trunk, patchwork, to celebrate or tusk.

We are able to find the author of a book and we can also write some sentences about this book.

Durante estos días hemos estado leyendo el libro ELMER, EL ELEFANTE. Además de aprender nuevas palabras, hemos escrito un breve resumen del libro.

LITERACY YEAR 4

Hemos aprendido algunos verbos en tiempo pasado. Para ello, hemos estado trabajando con recounts (narraciones en pasado de algo que ya ha sucedido). El tema común ha sido 'excursiones del colegio'


We learnt some past verbs. We have an oral presentation, using some past verbs about a school trip we did in the previous years.

En tercero, hemos aprendido a presentarnos a nosotros mismos. Sabemos decir dónde vivimos, cómo es nuestra casa, los deportes que nos gustan y qué mascota nos gustaría tener en casa.


We know how to introduce ourselves. We can say our direction, things about our home, the sports we like and the kind of pet we would like to have at home.

SCIENCE YEAR 4

We are learning to classify food groups. We made a layer book about the nutrients  and we are writing in our food journal all we eat in one week!! We are also comparing healthy and unhealthy food using Venn diagrams.

Estamos aprendiendo a clasificar grupos de comidas. Hemos construido un mini libro desplegable sobre los nutrientes y estamos escribiendo en nuestros diarios todo lo que comemos durante una semana!! También comparamos comida saludable y no saludable utilizando diagramas de Venn.

We are learning to classify living and non-living things in Science. We went to the playground today to see what we can find around us and we took notes like real scientists!!
